**Do NOT open thread titled "Real or not"

Some asshole put a virus on it.

 

I pressed the "Complain" button on that thread, but maybe the mods don't work weekends.

 

what was the result of the virus? I opened it and then had to shut my computer down.

 

It just locked mine up, but no major damage

Anyone running linux and/or Mac that can see if it will shut down their computer as well?

I just got blank pages. Then I read it was a virus and ran AVG and I'm clean. Maybe Firefox kept it from loading or the virus had been disabled by then?

I use firefox as well and had the same experience..blank page.

 

I run Linux.

No problem here. Pages didn't load.
