Do large banks and institutions use TA to profit?

GBPJPY has bounced off that 50% zone and is trading below it, I expect much more downside based on that 1 histogram bar.

This is interesting too, S&P for some random reason bounced off that red line (those levels were posted in my journal previously). If financial institutions do not reference historical levels (basic TA), then who sold there? Average Joe?

If it's true debitspread is marketsurfers wife or an associate with direct or indirect financial interest in URF's promoting of himself, this must be disclosed because URF the unregistered salesman promoting himself on this forum already is a CONFLICT OF INTEREST ... both on this forum where we're subject to stealth spam disguised as opinion ...and in the real world which urf himself describes in the quote below

I challenge urf and debitspread to disclose any and all direct or indirect financial relationship. Same for the other alias's who popup with non-sequitur replies changing the topic and scrolling threads to facilitate ignoring facts. The fact urf is an unregistered vendor spamming the forum makes this request for disclosure appropriate.

Anyone who claims he's not a vendor (using the forum to generate income) should read the proof in the quotes below. In URF's own words ...

  3. Uhhh, making contacts is part of the point of chatboard participation. There's even 'Hook Up' forum on this site.

Unlike the shadowy trolls who attack him, Surf is open about growing his Rolodex, and even invites everyone to his real-life events. But "no good deed goes unpunished."

And for the record, once again, I have no "direct or indirect financial relationship" with Surf.

I'm unable to imagine Baron ever permitting you to become an ET sponsor. Hence I'm withdrawing the sliding scale fee idea in favor of the alternative which is banning you. IMO it was absurd to think the net sum of benefits of having you as a legitmate sponsor would outweigh the embarrassment. The revenue generated by your fees and the additional posts wouldn't be enough to mitigate the damage you do.

I keep trying to find a solution that enables everyone including marketsurfer to win but it's just not feasible. As an example I thought what if urf were banned for nn days while a contract was negotiated which permitted limited participation to promote himself and his business interests within some restricted categories of the forum and he was not permitted any participation in the other areas of the forum. With anyone other than marketsurfer it would be worth trying this.

If anyone has any ideas I think this is the appropriate time to be making suggestions. Is there some way to salvage some good without the bad outweighing it?
