isn't that the way martingale thought? and he's a lot more famous than me it works if you have an infinite amount of capital and a job and a 1k bucket shop and an infinite lifespan
Its the correct way to think. A major floating currency pair is range trade over the long run. This provides a framework. Now, you can expand on that and attempt to predict direction based on the economic calendar as I do. If I get it wrong more often than not I have found based on paper trading that I can wait it out and it will eventually go in my favor or break even. If I get it right, I earn substantially. Look Oldtime, I think you should stop wasting time on me. I'm sorry you're losing money right now. I'm sorry that I am earning money right now with such a simplistic strategy. I'm sorry that deep down this is actually making you jealous that all your great thought is getting you nothing while I keep it very simple and win.
ok, you win, now what is it I should start doing if I want to make money like you? My hopes are to someday become a fulltime forex trader.
You're right. This is better, but only if you have the time available to watch your trade carefully. Remember that not only do you stand to gain more, but you also stand to lose a lot more.
Its your strategy. You tell me. I don't even understand your strategy. You've never explained it in a way that is meaningful.
well, it certainly isn't bracket trading. I'm not that good anymore. Was once when I was young, but not anymore now that I am old.
at one time I was so good I knew where to place a stop, and as if that wasn't enough, I also knew where to take a profit I was good I tell ya I could hit it on both sides
Actually, I just looked up definition of Bracket trading, and no, that is not what I am doing. I give up on this "discussion". I have more important things to deal with in my life. Good luck Oldtime, and if you are too old, maybe its time to quit before you lose all of your money. "know when to hold 'em .... fold 'em .... walk away ...."
thanks for the words of wisdom I'm not that good of a poker player if it's not too much trouble, I am very good at folding, but how do I know when to "hold em"?
