I really kinda just skimmed the thread, so I don't know who you are or how you trade, but I take it you trade from 1min charts and feel offended from my post? I think you missed my point about being a "pro" at a hedge fund, and also about smaller time-frame fx trading as you seem to have no clue. And the whole chart game thing tops it off... I've seen your kind. Take into consideration I am speaking of at home retail FX traders. And did not say 1min charts are useless to anyone for anything and all markets. Quotes seem good enough though. I'd like to see proof of someone (an at home retail fx trader) killing it off 1min charts entering more than say... 5-10 trades a day for a long period of time without a blowout.
well well well............... i see xspiurt is banned... my suspicion of him was right in the end..... he seem ok at first (older threads of him) but eventually more and more red flags come up on the bs detector..... he didnt know when to stop with his lies........ i knew he was up to something phony...... unless really gullible than anyone would figure him out
The TA expert's banning teaches us all a valuable lesson that ALL TA bragarts and those making unusual claims of consistent success on message boards are either vendors, cranks, or charlatans-- sometimes all three. WHile, I dont believe many at all exist, if any-- if any TA savants actually do exist, they would quietly ply their trade and not try to be a big shot on a message board. How obviously phony can you get in this business of deception? These folks get bold as they have fooled many of the retail FX class trader so they come to to elite full of fire and ready to convert the masses here. However, they real traders who inhabit this site quickly identify the bogus nature of their claims sending the charlatans running away with their tail between their legs OR they get smart assed and start issuing challenges but get crushed when faced with a real trader ie atticus vs the TA expert as an example--- the TA expert tried and failed to fight back with rhetoric rather than simply posting what was requested...... All future stealth vendors should take this as a warning-- you are not welcomed here. surf

surf, i will give a shot here this particular post is sincere and not just fodder for other motives. first of all..i personally believe anyone who comes here and brags (ie:i do such and such..etc etc) are beyond full of it and are what you say they are. ..common sense leads a normal person to realize this. alas, there are people who seek out "hope" through these guys who have cultivated a persona and fool them into ultimately parting with their money. i guess its easier to scam and mislead than doing the work to trade profitably. for me, i chose the route of study 24/7 to be the profitable trader and never have to depend on anyone. now to TA... although i rarely use it in my trading other than 200 day, 50 day averages to give me the extra degree of bias i may need..i am certain it is viable as a tool. of course news and all that fundamental stuff also is just as important to profitable trading. to write it off as nonsense i think will keep you from becoming independent. look at the work reardon has done and is doing..those trades do not come to him in the shower.(also probably not only TA used by him) .but from serious diligence.

it never ceases to amaze me, just how small a man's mind can get no matter what you are pissed off about I can get pissed off about something that is even smaller maybe that is how they discovered the big bang everybody just started bitching about smaller and smaller things until there was nothing smaller to bitch about and then I guess it all just exploded and they started bitching again
