  2. when I first started trading forex, I put it on with an 80 pip stop, no regard to where it was

    I traded about 21 or 23 pairs

all the majors and all the crosses eight at a time

those were the best and most profitable days of my life

I went to the middle of the garden and took a bite out the fruit of knowledge

    then I was casted out

and now it is a real bitch, nothing but toil, and my wife says it hurts everytime she has a child

Is it? So when you guys enter on a one min chart, you are using the same size SP you would on larger time frames? I have never seen the need to, its going to make some substantial moves through out the business day, wait for the 5-15 to be open to a change of mood then zero in on it at the one minute, if you are right it will roll on into something nice, if you are wrong you are neg 5 pips, why would I sit there to 10-15-20 in the red to find out if my timing and chart reading is wrong???

And no live calls, my eyes are married to the screen in the moments that count, unless I was able to vocalize what I was seeing, I have a chat room called tradeyourlifetogold if you would like to join me on monday for a small entry fee and 99% of any profit made?

    No..

  5. Another one bites the dust. :(

I too wanted to believe. well, not in Xpurt-- he dug his own hole when it came to his lack of credibility.

If you want proof of at-home retail success--- short of knowing someone in the brokerage industry who can actually tell you how the customers are doing, your only resource is Patak and TopStep.

You cannot rely on any claims made in an anonymous forum because there is too great of a chance you are being lied to. Sorry to punish those who are not lying, but these venues cannot be trusted. TST on the other hand cannot be faked- so if anyone is making money there you know it is for real.

Once again, if you are looking on forums, there is a good chance your sources are no more credible than these guys.................

  7. I see Atticus walking the walk and Xspurt crapping his pants.

This so called, "Mentor" has snake oil dripping all over his name.

Too bad. I'd like to see you or the Expurt in action. Those are impressive figures if they're pulled off, everyday. My stops are in the same neighborhood (less than 10 pips), when I trade FX. Maybe 3/4 - 1 point on the es. We've had some okay days in the Euro, but some not okay days, too. I'm always open to other methods. Why not post some calls? They don't have to be accurate to the second? I'd be willing to make some myself

I admire people who are able to trade ES, especially with 4 tick stop. It looks like total mess to me most of the time, ha.

Recently play some DAX, that is one nice mover, I wish it was more liquid though.

NQ seems to be an optimal balance of volatility and liquidity.

Speaking of what's possible. I remember one story Atticus told: about some German man who made millions from small amount by trading binary options at heaven forbid... spread betting firm (BOM). If not everyone knows, they take the other side of your trades.

So if that happened in reality, why is that not the case for some people to achieve similar results by trading FX outright?

I'm not speaking for myself here, my goal is rather slow and steady growth as I don't like to risk much in order to make a few extra bucks, I make enough for my family to sustain a decent life quality already, but certainly don't see why such stellar returns are not theoretically doable.
