White and black democrats seem to feel quite differently towards BO. Blacks, as told by this article in USA Today (http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/2007-04-26-black-dems_N.htm) have been described as having pride in BO. White democrats, specifically Clinton supporters, don't seem to feel the same way at all about BO. Comments from Clinton followers such as "I can't stand BO", "I'll never get used to BO", and "BO stinks" could be overheard at a Clinton rally.

Media types seem to be equally split on BO. Ms nbc's Chris Mathews said that BO "gave him a tingle down his leg". Keith Olberman, also of ms nbc, gets a smile on his face just thinking of BO. Fox News anchors, on the other hand, seem to have no affection for BO, at times trying to navigate away from the subject as if it smelled fishy.

Republicans have by and large been able to stay above the fray and just bask in the spectacle. Religious conservatives have even used biblical terminology and talked of their side being a "sweet smelling aroma to God".

I guess we can all just be patient and see if BO will become a part of the white house landscape come jan 2009.

Yeah, well... the problem seems to be more visual than olfactory.

The other day, I was watching Hannity and Colmes with a group of friends, and one of the wives walked in the den: attractive, smart, successful woman in her forties, a Republican. She took a look at Obama (on the screen at the time) and said: boy, he looks good!

    That's a problem! :D
