we are being conditioned so they can send 60k more troops to war right now. i think obama really would like not to send the additional troops but he fears the backlash from the republicans at a time when he is trying to pass health care reform and doesnt need any more controversy in the press.
The Republicans aren't gonna help him on any issue or in any form. So why not with draw all troops and draw a huge amount of praise from the America populace. And make the Republicans looks like the fools they've demonstrated themselves to be?
i hope he has the courage to change the mission but i worry he will not be able to muster the courage.
