Only in waxy’s universe does size = a fill advantage. The moron doesn’t even know the advantages of being retail.

  2. Retail are some of the smartest traders out there...but they are also at the biggest disadvantage.

Execution and cost are their only advantage(s).

SML somehow strikes you as someone who can tie their own shoes? You're a bot.

Took me years to learn risk management using options, learn how long to keep them. I don't wait for trends to start, I seek to find ends of major trends, so I lose majority of attempts in futures, so system has to overcome losses by having correct number of options, length of time kept and for overall trade to be profitable, in other words lost on futures side but options made overall profit. When system does find nine year relative extremes, goal is 75% of 9 year range plus adding on few to couple dozen add on positions. Many rollovers. Currencies i convert from US Dollar to currency I think are bottoming and trade their markets, often times early, but options help.

Some markets don't have options or enough of them so have to try to match them up with stock options dealing with futures like lumber.

Most traders work on being with trend but no matter timeframe, I been opposite.

  10. Theoretically, 'all else equal with regards to skill', a day trader would make more than a swing trader.

Of course, there's a huge difference between theory and practice, so I'm sure the average swing trader beats the average day trader 99 % of the time.
