  1. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17132 on 10/12/15, as the stock market rallied again. Short sellers continue to get crushed as we enter earnings season this week.

  3. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17082 on 10/13/15, as the stock market finally dropped yesterday. The S&P 500 failed near 2020 again and then sold off all afternoon. The next big area of support is located down around 1979 which must hold going forward.

  4. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 16925 on 10/14/15, as the stock market dropped again. The S&P 500 slipped below 2000 which opened the flood gates lower. The next big area of support is located down around 1979 which must hold going forward.

  5. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17142 on 10/15/15, as the stock market rallied big. Earnings continue to come in strong which is bullish in the short term. The S&P 500 broke back above 2020 and closed strong.

  6. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17216 on 10/16/15, as the stock market rallied again. Earnings continue to come in strong which is bullish in the short term. The S&P 500 closed back above 2020 again which is always a good sign. However, the next time we close below 2000, look out below.

  7. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17231 on 10/19/15, as the stock market ended flat. Earnings continue to come in good which is holding this market up for the time being. The S&P 500 continues to hold above 2020 which is a good sign. However, the next time we close below 2000, look out below.

  8. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17217 on 10/20/15, as the stock market ended mixed. The S&P 500 continues to hold the recent gains but a break back below 2020 would set up a retest of 2000. Earnings season will really heat up later this week and over the next three weeks.

  9. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17169 on 10/21/15, as the stock market dropped on Wednesday. The Biotech sector was very weak after VRX shares tanked on a report on their revenue. Earnings season will really heat up later this week and over the next three weeks.

  10. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17489 on 10/22/15, as the stock market surged on better than expected earnings from McDonald's ($MCD). This Dow component was huge in causing the massive rally we saw today. The Biotech sector was very weak again after more selling in the healthcare sector. Earnings season will really heat up next week and over the next three weeks.
