What's your point? Should I be long for always because we all know stocks go up long term? what if Nikkei225 start returning better for 30 years, should I be still long US indices?
I think his point it that if you think being in 2000 points of profit is pennies to you on the short side in such a small time frame, then you are not seeing the bigger picture. You effectively have 3 more trading days to get out of the position with profit before you are forced to roll if you wish to get out with any liquidity.
i think it'll do a moderate drop tu or wed bc SPY in 10day downtrend (which was broken tho since hod today > fri). i rebot sm size inverses just in case : o
Well if the major trend was still up then obviously I would be at the beach and happy with great ROI in a short term transferred to the bank, but here I'm. A month from now, I will be closing the trade. Hopefully I get a new short entry at 33.5k end of April.
No, you said you were closing the trade tomorrow. "If 33888 doesn't occur next session, then I close my short with profit." https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...day-next-month-27k.363307/page-5#post-5501407 You are 700 points in profit, RIGHT NOW, as of this typing. #GoBulls
Yes, if 33888 don't get touched by tomorrow then I need to reevaluate my setup may be flawed and in that case I won't have a trade active. Better to make money then having trades go against me.
So you are saying that you are going to exit your 35955 YM short tomorrow at some point, by hook or by crook. No matter what?
Your headline "Next month 27k" Like to hear a leetle bit of discussion on what brought that on. do you know something we don't see?
