Distribution going on ?

Why is the volume impressive? Just check LU, 900+ mil shares traded.

 

Up or down? I assume up when the word explosion is used. Implosion would be used for down.

 

This increased volatility in the last week is making this market alot easier to trade. The 45 point sell off in about 20 minutes was interesting today. As for the overall market I think money is leaving tech and headed into oil and gold.

 

Legging into shorts on the Dow and have been long gold for a long time. I'm expecting any surprises to be to the downside. Tight stop in case wrong.

 

Hell, I don't know what is going on. On yahoo the nyse volume is shown to be over 4 billion and on reuters it is 2.2 billion

 

I noticed that too. When is the last time NYSE had 4 billion in volume?? I've been in the market since mid 1990's and I dont remember a time we had this significant amount. Is it really accurate? CBS Marketwatch has different numbers however.

LU was taken out of the S&P today.....right?

 

NYSE website reports over 4 billion shares at 23:44 ET.

 

What a beautiful down opening we just had. Looks like another big volume day.
