This is kind of hard to explain...sometimes when I have several applications already running, I will open a new browser window. All my monitors start flickering. I will get altered images on my screens (displayed softare will be resized, or show up on a different monitor, or partially/completely disappear) . The screens sometimes turn completely white. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes I will have to restart my computer. I don't think it's a RAM isssue; I have 2GB and typically use less than half of that. I've had this happen on both of my computers. Any ideas what could be causing this?
This sounds like a video card/video driver issue. Either the driver is not compatible with something or your video hardware chipset isn't compatible with your motherboard.
