It’s one of those hoods that has progressively gotten nicer from the influx of tech but it’s out there from the financial district.
It was much better than I had expected. I had expected what I saw on the news, but that was more downtown.
A fair enough point. I think news can affect perception certainly. But there were areas that I saw that I was disgusted - but in fairness, I've seen places in Queens that were like that, too.
