I'm a swing trader. Equities only. My trading plan is my operating manual and hopefully answers the question "What do I do now?" It's a series of IF/Then scenarios; If this happens then I do this. It was difficult to write but easy to follow, if you don't let your emotions get in the way.
I mean to say this: Discretionary Trader is a trader who spends their entire lifetime in drawdown. Discretionary Trader is like a bird with no wings, can not fly.
I think it means SML found a hot new EA and is using it to devour all the unsuspecting giraffes, gazelles, hogs and wild hares in the ES market, who are probably pointing and clicking, like he was doing about a month ago.
Morning bud, When I look back through my trade log and see that a large percentage of my winning trades all share similar characteristics then that is a good sign I should focus more on that area. Likewise, if I find I am taking repeated losses from a certain setup or conditions, I would use that info to modify my approach and avoid those problematic areas.
