    It starts with discipline, transforms into habit, and eventually becomes second nature. Rule-breaking is easy; sticking to a plan is where the real growth happens.

  2. Hello eleanorK80,

    Discipline is trading is marketing and a scam.

    If you are serious about making money trading, just make money and do not lose money.

    Forget all this fancy discipline talk, it is marketing. We all grown men and women, and we all make our own decisions.

    Discipline is BS.

    For a number of reasons, discipline in trading is essential. It helps traders in keeping their established strategies and keeps them free of immediate decisions caused by feelings such as greed and fear. Secondly, it increases consistency in performance, which ultimately results in reliable results. Lastly, risk management techniques are promoted by disciplined trading, which keeps traders from creating unnecessarily big positions that can result in sizable losses.

    LOL Few words are wise.
    I sometimes risk more than 1 or 2 sentences;
    but spelling + comprehension risk increases .:D:D
    Written plans help;
    but i dont think 100% discipline is hard=its impossible:caution::caution:

    Not every one on this forum is grown up man / woman.

    As the saying goes:
    "The boys want attention. The Men want respect. The Legends just don't care."

    Next time when you’re short brass futures contracts, just cover the position to avoid delivering the physical commodity to the metals dealer :D
