I called Direxionfunds and asked them this very question. After a hollow pause, the representative sighed he had know I idea, and that he "would be a lot happier of a person" if he did know. He assured me there would be all sorts of press releases and publicity, and that one couldn't miss them when they finally are approved and available for trading. He seemed to think it was a question of when rather than if. You have to wonder what the hold-up is, but the rep I talked to couldn't or wouldn't say. It should be interesting when they do finally arrive. A more interesting topic for anyone to weigh in on who cares to is whether these monthlies are actually investment-worthy securities. Will they be a safe place to park one's money, at least for a a little while? Spyders, fine, but how about the BGU monthly (or whatever the ticker will be)?
