I was reading over the GFT chat logs and came upon a comment that said basically that the mind frame that a spot fx trader has to have needs to be different than that of a futures trader.... "have got to start thinking spot, instead of futures" but don't you HAVE to think ahead? I mean if you're following a trend, then you'd need to know the history of the currency pair right? And isn't that the same info you'd need for futures? Not that I'm a current futures trader or anything, but that statement makes we wary and a bit confused of exactly what indicators, charts and history a Spot FX trader has to watch....
