I just went to fill up with diesel at the station I have been going to for 10 years. The were out, a man that has worked their for 35 years said the had never run out until now. I live in Dallas Tx, near downtown. This is rather disturbing as he said he did not no when they would receive a load.
OK, let's see... 1. "Diesel Shortage"... one economy alternative perhaps on the shelf. 2. "Gas Guzzler Tax".... get poor gas mileage, pay a "guzzler penalty". 3. "High MPG Tax" (currently being discussed)... States are concerned that if too many people drive efficient vehicles, they won't be buying enough fuel to maintain the cost of road upkeep... (much of highway funding comes from taxes on gasoline and diesel). What's a fella to do?
