So you don't want to answer me.

You can ask the question over and over, but no one really reads your posts around here, so you're really talking with me. I don't usually read them either, but sometimes they're amusing. And occasionally, they're right on point.

Just to be clear, Putin does not appear in the question, Bunky.

    So the question remains.

LOL, ok. Putin doesn't enter into the question of Russia's invasion.

    Enjoy talking with yourself.

You got nothing say about the question posed, so you want to try to move the goalpost, Bunky.
Did you strain yourself when it would not move. Rub some dirt on it. Walk it off. lol.

    So the question remains.

  5. Putin claiming Nato would not expand in Ukraine is a flimsy bullshit reason contrived to get his people mad at Europe and U.S.

Ukraine voted out Russian puppet and putin still mad...

Because I don't care about answering the question. You do.

All I'm saying is that Putin didn't invade the Ukraine because he was concerned with NATO's expansion so much as he was concerned with NATO's expansion into the Ukraine. He essentially says this in his speech.

I've been saying this from the start.

And it doesn't mean I support it. Christ, some of you people just WANT to argue.

The answer is why the hell shouldn't NATO be allowed to expand and why the hell shouldn't countries who wish to join by allowed to do so ? Putin wants to annex former Soviet republics and even more based on the map 100 years ago. Countries that want nothing to do with Russia.

If someone made a promise they shouldn't have made so be it. Such deals aren't binding for several decades. Communists may think so but they think they are used to unopposed government decisions. Old school Catholics may too but I won't go there.

He meant to use the term "unipolar", meaning leaning in one direction only.

Thanks Overnight. Unipolar and "clinging to a question nobody asked" and arguing for pages about it and projecting that argumentive view outward instead of into the homeboy in the mirror, lol.

If there were some signed agreement, wouldn't it be historically valuable enough to be easily documentable?

I got my doubts that the usgov did, but the question remains - just in case ...
