Did the sp futures go limit down today?

I thought they would get halted at some point, why not?

 

If it went down 9 more ES points it would have been.

 

Looks like they were halted @ 14:45:28 for 5 seconds

 

I am quite curious about these 5 seconds. An official halt? Something else?

 

AFAIK, there was no official halt. There were no trades during that period, and market was locked. The same auction you see at pre-open.

I was listening to the pit audio and on the way up the spread was 1080 / 1090 , ten full points.

 

its called free money........
you hope to get filled on the retacement.
sucks cuz it was a 10 point b/a spread.
if you trade w/ a tighter stop , you get busted out as soon as you press ok.
instant flame out.
