I know people who are quitting the rep party over this.

  2. One of my best friends from college was a delegate (hard to believe that there would be anyone at a GOP convention from Berkeley, but apparently there were several). He sent me an angry update email a few days ago. Below is an excerpt:

Convention business started Tuesday Aug 28th, and it ushered in arguably the most important battle of this convention – the rules governing our GOP going forward. Ben Ginsberg, Romney’s top lawyer and advisor, pushed a rule change that would effectively shift control of the GOP from the local, grassroots level, to the Republican National Committee (RNC) where a very small group of brokers would have the power to change the newly adopted national party rules.

    Eight

Republicans are wising up and starting to operate like the Democrats.. if they could capture a significant portion of the Black Vote they would be in power forever...

This was an embarassment, slowly but surely, piece by piece, regardless of which side you are on, we are watching government take over control, and the decisions are being taken out of the hands of the people.

  5. Play ball or you're out. Ground work being laid for 2016 when the nation is so completely disgusted with a Romney or a Obama that a Ron Paul type might actually have a chance. Can't have that. In other words, you're free to open you're shitty little store next to a WalMart, but if actually begin to take market share, you will be crushed immediately.

  6. The RNC better get their heads outta their collective asses.
The party of socialism-light has no future.
If they effectively shut down the grass roots conservatives from input, the republican party will seal their fate to destruction.

Conservatives merely find it more convenient to try to change the republicans from within, when that option is clearly removed there's no doubt a rival 3 party becomes automatically viable.

The democrats will win big for awhile during the transition and many rhino's will drop their Facade and join the democraps directly.
