I know Barack Obama graduated either summa or magna cum laude. But did Sarah Palin get cum LAUDE or kum QUAT?

I would say "cum" played a monumental role in her life, just not in educational capacity.

More fuel to the fire. Take a look at petty things she accepted in Wassila. Considering Alaska Senator Stevens was bought for a laughably small amount of 400K (allegedly) if she gets her hands on the presidency corruption would go to levels unheard of.
