The thing about the Palestinians and Israel is basically this.. Maps have been created by war and conquering land. Everybody has done it, north america, europe, asia, etc.. So the isreal thing being in modern times is the only difference.

If the Palestinians want land, they are going to have to fight for it. Simple. Everything else is just babble.

Maybe Israel should recommend US give Mexico back some land?

 

Does the Jewish vote even count? There are hardly any Jews in the USA. We should maximise American interests, not the interests of a bunch of Jews on Wall Street.

The USA is defined by Christianity. If our Arab oil interests are greater in importance than our military bases in Israel, we should ditch Israel and back the Arabs. The Jews are an irrelevance compared to oil.

Oil > Jews.

I am not taking sides, but didn't Israel establish those lines by driving Egypt back in 1967 War? And BO wants them to give it back? Is this President an idiot or what. LMAO.

 

If we can get more oil out of this, we should dump Israel and back the Arabs -- including weapons gifts to the Arabs, like we do with Pakistan.

Nothing particularly earth-shattering in the speech, the old "land for peace" formula that was first introduced in 1967 UN resolution 242. Israel accepted it, the Arab world rejected it, the formula eventually became the basis for peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan. When the Pals are ready to make peace and forget their "right of return" non-starter they'll get their land and their state back.

I doubt Obama won or lost any votes today, it's pretty much mainstream by-partisan thinking on the conflict.
