It didn't invade Ukraine actually, but it can do it any time. The whole world nowadays keep up with the news with apprehension. Everything because the invasion will literally provocate crisis on the exchange market. Russia is considered to be a major player there, because it's a gas and oil country. However, even despite the disappointing forecasts, I'm convinced that Russia won't invade Ukraine. Everything it can do is to attach Donetsk/Lugansk areas. However, it also will lead to the fall of Russian stock exchange market and the fall of the ruble. By the way, ruble even until these events wasn't in demand and took the position somewhere between rupee and rand.
Guess you haven't seen MICEX Index lately? -25% after a -26% drop beginning of the year. Today is "Defender of the Fatherland Day" in Moscow so it can't drop any further till tomorrow. BTW Putin invaded Ukraine years ago and never left.
