I think you guys have them on ignore. If you did not, you'll know they've posted almost every day here at ET. Db posted today at ET, two others posted today at ET, today I saw 15 price action traders (not Wyckoff) post live calls on stocktwits...most usually profitable, today two others posted at ForexFactory.com Also, today, I saw 5 Wyckoff/AMT traders post live calls on stocktwits. Some of them mixes in fundamentals and good money management...once in awhile I see them talking about those other things they use in their trading with the price action analysis. By the way, the next Salon du Trading competition is around the corner in September...a few price action traders in that tournament. The Forex competition completed in Juin. One of the top 3 finishers is a price action trader. Competition is a real money audited trading with live judges in front of a live audience...trading platforms put on a big screen for every one in the audience to see and ask live questions even when trades are open. I've never seen... Don't believe the myth. It's a big world out there online. Surely you haven't met everyone.
The markets are very liquid and offer endless opportunities every single day. If these PA folks were really successfull, they would per definition be millionaires a long time ago and they would certainly not be selling e-books or spend their time "teaching" on a forum day after day. Are they profitable? Do they make a buck? That may very well be. I just don't think they're making it big time and I'm not even sure they're beating the market. Of course, that's not to say I don't believe in TA, which I obviously do.
I've also noticed a fluctuation in both the posting quality and quantity of users here on ET. It seems like there is a big influx of new traders every autumn. Would be nice to see some charts of aggregated posting frequency, and overlay the VIX.
The scribble educators do not like opposing views and thus have taken the discussions largely to PMs and other sites.
Thanks! I was on my way there to join several months ago, then got nervous about getting ripped off, and turned around. I appreciate the insight--- have fun in the islands! surf
For people who claim to be skilled traders, they sure have thin skin and the weakest ones are the most verbal. surf
They need to show results in real time so their veracity can be ascertained. They don't like these questions to be put forth.
