I never understood why humans care what others make, time they should be spending developing more ways to do it themselves. If you have to ask, you not there.

Anyone can say anything on the internet. These days we can’t even trust the track records of their trades because everything can be forged. I don’t understand why it matters how much someone else has made? No one is going to share their secret with you even for a billion dollars. What really disturbs me is if they are really making money why do they need to make a course, do the marketing stuff and sell their life-changing method for a few bucks.
Exactly. If you were minting monies like a printing press, you would be so busy to sell anything. Look at the top traders on the book, Market Wizards by Jack Schwager. Now, Jack Schwager verifies that these top traders are actually legitimate as well as their earnings. They are not selling anything for the most part but, running their own hedge funds.
A legit reason a winning trader would sell his method is that his starting capital is very small, so while his method is winning it will take few years to grow to a decent size and he may not have the patience to wait. But this is an improbable situation. Another could be he is selling you bits and pieces to give you the foundation but not the exact method behind how he trades.
More likely, the 2nd part of your post that he is only giving you bits and pieces of how he trades. I have read a lot of books on trading and don't you find it strange some traders have a huge number of books they are selling you? Only exception probably, is Stan Weinstein. He wrote one book on trading and only that book. Nobody is going to give you the secret sauce or their edge. So, they give you bits and pieces to entice you to buy their book, join their expensive seminars, sell DVDs or their trading software. They get most of their monies from selling you stuff and not trading itself.
we all need less than 10mm to live. making money is a sport. Some of us have the privilege of being at the top of maslov’s heirarchy and can work towards self actualization.
You guys so funny, but most likely cause am Autistic, my brain functions are different. I feel no emotions, don't feel love, hate, empathy, fear, no conscience but my subconscious does have rules to live and when violated I receive pain in some form. I often get frustrated at myself for not understanding humans. From minute we are born, someone is trying to teach us, some we grasp and others less so. You pick up a book and it is the views of the author, but very few books offer how to make a living. I lived in time period when you gave time, you expected to be paid. Same is true today. Most would never teach others for a few years on how to scalp or short term trading. Not everyone learns quickly, have to work through their pains and encourage them. Emotions I don't have but I understand failures, but failures allows humans to keep trying. My last student has gone through much, he is older and slower, and I did teach him one of my Holy Grails, he has done over 150 option trades and no losses. I have developed six Holy Grails and most automated, you spend lifetime in trading or another field, you wake up with focus. Living with Asperger's, you prefer separation from people, having to be in group of people I get mental pain and anxiety. Simple don't understand much like insults never understood, people PM me saying so, I see it as loss of life by them and their brain is like 8 years old. I will not take any more students in my life, am too old to want to spend so much time with them. I see trading as a boring job now, it has gotten too easy, same patterns, I have zero thoughts if one pattern better than brains opinion, I just take them. Student and I will trade together but at distance this week and when I have time. I seldom lose and I don't care if humans believe or not. I only care about the guy am mentoring. I find too many humans give up too early, they refuse to think outside the box, I went into trading cause ultimate challenges and been fulfilled. I wish all Happy Holidays, drive safe.
