    A difficult week's trading.
The FTSE made new 30 day high on Friday at 7440.77. Crude oil was volatile again.

Short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.

Looking forward to a better week next week.

    Thoughts

A bit of a crazy week on the equity markets.

We saw a lot of volatility, with the FTSE breaking the lows of early August, making a new low just above 7000. I'm not sure whether we will retest these levels in the coming weeks, October can be a volatile month. The index ended the week over 3.6 % down.

Short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.
For September, my net return was just + 2.19%, with 64 trades. It was a difficult month.
Looking forward to a better week next week.

    Stay disciplined.
    Stay focussed.
    Stay humble.

    Thoughts

We saw some more volatility on the commodity stocks, (and therefore the FTSE).

A poor week, closed a couple of positions in BHP and MCRO and took a bit of a hit.
(The positions on MCRO were small, hence the lower overall percentage loss than the BPS figure would suggest.)

Looking forward to a better week next week.

    Thoughts

A challenging week, markets influenced by the ongoing BREXIT situation.

Commodity stocks were weak, with the FTSE Mining Index down over a thousand points over the week at one point.

Trades were difficult to find, hence the small number of them.
Well short of my 2.5% benchmark.

Looking forward to a better week next week.

    Stay disciplined.
    Stay focussed.

    Thoughts

A quieter week on the equity markets . The FTSE was weak on Monday but staged a rally later in the week.
Well below my weekly 2.5% benchmark.
Next week we have the BREXIT deadline, so I expect more volatility.

Looking forward to a better week next week.

    Stay focussed.

    Thoughts

A bit of a nothing week, I was busy with some other matters.
Commodity stocks were weaker after results from BP and RD Shell.
The BREXIT deadline came and went, it's now been extended until the end of January (2020..?)
Well below my weekly 2.5% benchmark.
October was not a good month - I made 66 trades and produced a negative return of 1.23%.
Looking forward to a better week next week.

    Stay disciplined.
    Stay focussed.
    Stay humble.
