    Thoughts

Another four day week, due to the Easter holiday.

Not a great week, the FTSE made a new high for the year on Tuesday, before falling back below 7400 on Friday. Commodity stocks were weaker after the recent strength in both oil and mining stocks.

    Trades were difficult to find.

Well short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.
Looking forward to better trading opportunities next week.

    Stay disciplined.

    Stay focussed.
    Stay humble.

Can understand the sentiments, for me lately just going up then back down to where I was previously, not alot of headway at all maybe 3 weeks. however I have 5 gold positions which have been dragging me under lately. This lethargy in gold may be coming to an end as there is recent sign of life.
As for trades difficult to find, same here. Today Saturday spent several hours running my algo and researching contenders and can only find one stock to buy atm which doesn't appear over valued and which will be bought Monday on open. I'm more long term, don't like daytrading for myself.

A very difficult week. Made some very poor trades on the FTSE. Equity markets were weaker towards the end of the week. Frustrating trading overall.
Well short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.
Next week is another four day week due to the May bank holiday.
Looking forward to better trading opportunities next week.

    Thoughts

Another four day week due to the bank holiday.
Equity markets were weaker, mainly on continued trade tensions.
    Crude oil was weaker too.
Again short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.

During May I made 61 trades and a net return of 3.39%, not an easy month that's for sure.

Looking forward to better trading opportunities in June.

    Stay disciplined.
    Stay focussed.
    Stay humble.

    Another quiet week.
Equity markets sold off on Monday before rallying strongly into and Friday.
The FTSE rebounded over 3.7% from the lows of Monday.
Crude oil stared the weak lower but rallied too.

Again short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.
Looking forward to better trading opportunities next week.

    Thoughts

    Another difficult week.
Equity markets were stronger early in the week, but sold off on Friday.

Crude oil was volatile following news from the gulf about a tanker attacked.
Miners were firmer with RIO setting 52 week highs, BHP and AAL were also bullish.
Once again short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.

Looking forward to better trading opportunities next week.

    Thoughts

    Another quiet week.

Equity markets were range - bound for most of the week, miners were strong, then on Wednesday RIO warned on its iron ore production, and the sector sold off sharply (over 540 points on the FTSE mining index, NMX1770).

Crude oil was strong following more news from the gulf, the US claiming that a drone was shot down by Iran. Gold also broke above $ 1400 on Friday morning for the first time in a few years.

A poorly timed trade exit on BP spoiled what could have been a decent week.
Once again short of my 2.5% weekly benchmark.
Looking forward to better trading opportunities next week.

    Stay disciplined.
    Stay focussed.
    Stay humble.
