Hi, I've found a GMSoft Dialer Hackers Tool, while scanning with Zonealarm; any attempt to remove the 'dialer.exe' file has failed. Has anybody got a suggestion about removing this file via a free Spyware programm ? Kind regards, Paulus
www.webroot.com Use Spysweeper. Just download the trial, its fully functional for like 14 or 30 days. That should fix it. If that fails try the anti-spyware from sunbelt software.
Take your pick (spybot is free and has regular updates) http://www.download.com/Spyware-Center/2001-2023_4-0.html?tag=nav_dir
too fast I've used (still use Spybot) but that program did not solve the problem; Ad-Aware the same .. paulus
paulus, I had that problem last year. The only way to get rid of it is to manually remove the registry entries. Google it - the process is well documented. bolter
hi bolter, I was 'googling' it but, being nog very technical, could not find the answer yet; thanks anyway ... regs, paulus
Are you unable to delete the file because it is in use? Try killing it with the taskmanager, press CTRL + ALT + DEL --> Taskmanager and find the dialer.exe under the processes tab. End the process. Then try to delete the file again.
good thinking ! but what if the file is not listed ... does it mean it is nog 'working' at this moment ? paulus
