Then Why-O-fucking-Why don't you support Ron Paul?

He is the only dude in the GOP field that will relentlessly uphold the Constitution and put all this Police State crap in the garbage. And you know it.

  2. And to be fair, it's not like Bush didn't have a huge hand in this by getting the ball rolling and breaking new and sacred ground. Obama simply took it ten steps further down the road. Just imagine the next four years with this guy, or whoever else the kingmakers bless us with.

If you are still thinking in terms of Republican and Democrat, you are doing it wrong.

  3. That is a bad bill. I think any American who provides material support to terrorists or participates in actions against the United States should be executed.

  4. People are the least of their concerns... It's the banks, law firms and corporations that provide material assistance. I don't see any provisions in this bill where if a corp provides assistance the feds can put in place a receiver, seize all of their assets and shut them down.

Any attorney that provides representation or advise would be subject to expatriation. Seems this bill will over reach or even trump personal jurisdiction issues.

We already have laws against treason.

There is a more specific reason these latest laws have not so specific definitions.

  6. Interesting perspective. What if someone is wrongfully accused?

I think there is a constitutional problem with random checks. This is unreasonable search. I'm not sure how they get away with DUI check points either.

Anyway, the American people are approaching a tipping point where they will demand a stop to this nonsense.

Keep up the silly labels guys. neocon, demopublican, republocrat. Funny! :D

Yup. Exactly. And material support is such an opened ended term. But back up for a second. The 5th and 6th Amendment guarantees every American a trial, regardless. The assumption that there's reasonable instances where the Government should "Revoke" citizenship in the first place, is lawless, and totally outside the Constitution. Ya, it sucks when we get a McVeigh, but that's the law. And that's the same law that protects the 10,000 innocent people for every one shit-bagger we get. It's insanity that people even think it's okay to let the Feds decide who gets to "keep" their citizenship. That would make all our Constitutional protections arbitrary on what the Feds decide. And guess what? That's EXACTLY what they're trying to do. Holy f*ck.

Lol, hadn't seen those last two labels before.

What about cameras on every street corner and building? Same thing, random checks, imho.
