You are right -- but I only have to deal with Texas people. (plus no state income tax -- housing is cheap compared to East or West Coast.
Are there current Jasper traders who have not been assigned to a new sub since the scandal broke? Some of my trader friends at Jasper don't have new accounts yet and can't trade right now. Of course the management is giving them all kinds of lip service. Anything on this?
The Anvil platform is certainly having its fair share of issues this morning. Am unable to execute any NYSE stock, even with the "proactive" order ticket settings. Reg. NMS issues. Ugh!
Since the NMS upgrade Ive had all sorts of execution issues. It seems thats the case whenever they do a major backend upgrade. Same thing happened when They merged SIZE, ISLD BRUT to NSDQ. After several days and several software upgrades everything ran great.
On Craigslist this morning there was a new ad for traders in their downtown office. After what has happened and all the negative press they are getting here, is this then the result - that they lost a bunch of traders and are looking to restock? I would think that the incident shouldn't have effected Assent directly and people were/are becoming scared unnecessarily . http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/acc/290452012.html
Does Assent prefer not to deal with traders individually? It seems at least at their NYC offices that every trader their is trading under a sub llc. Now when that happens you get a situation like at Jasper where its unclear whether the traders are going to get their money back - and it makes the whole firm look bad. Now if Jasper traders don't get their money back, what happens if they file a class action lawsuit against Assent?
Another Assent trader already called out your BS on another thread and has said Jasper traders have not received their money. You have 2 posts on this site and on both of them you claim Jasper traders received their money. So what's your agenda on this site?
