Apparently I'm the only one who thinks this thread smacks of amateur and is ridiculous.
There is no way that some guy on his mobile is taking money out of the market everyday. I trade for a living and this is fantasy trading in sim at best.

  2. People should download, and watch, Greatness Trading videos from YouTube.
Watch it over and over. or watch them every day. o_O Until all that vague...wisdom seeps into your every pore and atom in your body.

That video claims Paul Tudor Jones has averaged 19% every year since his fund inception.
If 19% every year is all it takes to be considered a Trading Genius/God...then I easily make that club.

I don't really watch anything new/modern...I kind of watch the same downloaded videos and movies in my computer folder like 50X+.
If you're able to watch something more than 50X, you should succeed in life and your endeavors.

  3. Like Skychef said : "he won't tell you what it is".
Look, you don't pull consistent profits from the emini markets with JUST a trading plan.
There's gotta be much more involved here...a systemic approach for one thing.

Maybe he's choosing to only talk about his trading plan (initial theme of the thread) instead of going into detail about his systemic approach to trading. :D

My point...some traders do have a systemic approach to trading but its their choice to talk about generalities involving the importance of having a trading plan.

  6. Well one of the techniques of trading advisers is obfuscation...check this one out from a leading online advisory:
    What is....
    1) converted support levels
    2) intra channel resistance
    3) initial resistance
    4) combined data tables
    5) inflection

Bottomline: Wow, beware of some of these online services.

  8. I'm inclined to believe you for 3 reasons:
    1) volpri never really understood the difference between TICK bars and TIME bars
    2) volpri claimed he had a trading "plan", when in fact he had a trading "strategy"....BIG DIFFERENCE.
    3) volpri never even outlined his approach or strategy or which premise he was exploiting

I would think that a successful trader with a trading plan and trading behind a desktop...

That same trader would continue to be successful when mobile trading unless someone believes its impossible to be profitable while doing mobile trading as if there's a problem with the technology that will prevent success.
