  1. What are GM bonds going for now like 30% or more?

  2. It's unfortunate, but when the American automobile industry focuses predominantly on screw-the-world, in-your-face SUVs and pickups, it gets what it has coming. It got lazy focusing on bells and whistles at the expense of efficient engineering. The thing is, we've all known it for years but they just kept on doing it. It's hard to feel sorry for anyone but the factory workers and the clerical staff.

  3. You are assuming inferior production. Fatal assumption.

  4. So is anybody looking at GM debt with BGM, GBM, GMS, GPM, HGM, etc?

  5. Take the simple view....

What if a company was available right now...who could sell you a mid size suv....that had a range of 250miles....battery powered...that would charge in 4 hours ...using your homebased 110/220 plug in.....for $15,000.....and offer 30% down financing ?

If this were GM.....would GM be doing well ?

Ok.....so we know the answer now.....

  6. That vehicle exists... but not for $15k! If you want the components made here and the thing assembled here, employing Americans at living wages, you'll have to pay the price. If you're a patriot, it's worth it. It is for me. But some people just don't have the money...

  7. S2007S

    S2007S

If they did this when the stock was at 30+ or even 20+ they would have been heros, but at $3 and change,

I call it a WORTHLESS PATHETIC CALL.

  8. I called GM the first Dow bankruptcy some time ago.

Would have been AIG but for the gvmt.

  9. Well then, put your money where your keyboard is. Since it's a 'worthless' call, buy some GM tomorrow AM.
