Just think of how much money the parents could save. 2 years living at home going to JC, then 2 more years at a state school.... Better still.. take the CLEP exams... I did that years ago and got a full year's worth of credits. Back then, I was offered the chance to take only 6 tests. Now they have more than 30.
One should check with their intended school to see if they would count. My school wouldn't take them for any of the required courses.. like Math and English... but they let me use them for electives and gave me full credit.
Well, our President wants to give the Community Colleges 127 Billion, so there ya go. Cut off 11th and 12th grade and we'd save at least that. So it's paid for!
They should just let everything in the state go BK by itself so it can get a much needed fresh start from the ground up.
