It's excellent. My youngest takes it for a metabolic disorder. I used to take it for telomeres. No reason not to take it. IIRC it increases Hayflick as well.

  3. That's my reasoning as well. My only issue is i can't seem to decide on the proper l-carnosine dose. Too much and you risk too much lipofuscin. I take half a g in a combo with alcar which helps with that but could be convinced to take more. Unnecessary?

The doses I see being used are in the 1-1.5g range. More than 2g seems to release too much histamines (hives). Histidine -> histamine synthesis. Take some astaxanthin for any mac-degen concerns.

FWIW, you cannot get macular-degeneration if you're taking 12mg daily of astaxanthin. I'd forgotten to add that to my list.

Thanks for the list. I have a few questions if you don't mind.

#1 - Why before 10AM? What happens if taken at noon?

#5 - As a climber, I really don't care about pump. My main areas of focus is increasing strength, and reducing fat (which I find difficult once I get down to 11% bf). I don't lift weights. More energy is always desirable. Are these an appropriate supplements?

#6 - Do you feel multi-vitamins are worth the squeeze?

#7 - Is this to counteract the increase in energy? Take at night?

I've been taking astaxanthin for a while to fight the effect of the sun (I don't wear sunscreen, and I'm out in the sun all the time)

    1. Insomnia

    5. Yes, absolutely

    6. Squeeze?

    7. Yes, the ALCAR increases norepinephrine; orotate helps initiate PSNS.

Astaxanthin is crucial if you're climbing due to exposure.

Excellent, thanks for posting. Definitely interested in your routines.

Some questions if you don't mind:

    1) I know you advised taking the NAC on an empty stomach, so that's what I've done. I have never found it to be hard on my stomach at all though. I usually take it in the morning first thing, so only 600mg a day. That's good?

    2) I take the ALCAR + ALA later in morning, or pre-workout on training days. I have only been taking 500mg ALCAR and 600mg ALA (now brand). Would you recommend pre AND post training as well, doubling that dose?

    3) Is that the regular Nutrient 950? they make a few different kinds such as without iron and copper, even one with NAC.

  9. Any reason why you don't have Melatonin on your list? It's the only other terminal antiOx so can't really go wrong with it from what i read.

I take 1mg before bed. It’s awesome but I don’t typically recommend any hormones.
