that has to.do with Disney movie franchises failures and Disney+ drop offs etc....nothing to do with a spat with Ronnie.... Disney made over $3 billion NET last year...they'll be fine...
The DeSantis administration already has hidden or deleted piles of Covid data so Ron could drive a fake political narrative. As outlined by the Tampa Bay Times, the deleting of Covid data in a fabricated study pushed by DeSantis and his anti-vaxxer surgeon general is merely the latest example. Florida Officials Deleted Data From COVID Vax Study: Report https://www.thedailybeast.com/flori...-data-from-covid-vaccine-analysis-report-says Of course, DeSantis has also been upset that Florida has been leading the country in Covid deaths on a per-capita and raw basis for nearly a year now. He tried to stop this by having the state of Florida not post the data and merely report it to the Federal government. Naturally Ronny boy was upset the Feds actually posted the data --- so what is DeSantis' solution to this? Simply come up with excuses to not report the data to the CDC every week so Florida looks like it has no Covid. Why Florida hasn't been reporting COVID cases and deaths to the CDC https://ourcommunitynow.com/news/why-florida-hasnt-been-reporting-covid-cases-and-deaths-to-the-cdc At some point this undermining of public health can only be outlined as politically driven absurdity. In reality it demonstrates that Ron DeSantis does not care about the health of residents of Florida --- and amply demonstrates his authoritarian tendencies.
As with most of the BS he spews, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis might also not be as tough on crime as he says. Seeing that Florida is one of the most violent, high crime states. As outlined in the article -- the DeSantis administration is using fake & altered crime data to push a false political narrative about crime in Florida. You know... creating crime statistics that don't include data from large cities in Florida is just typical of the usual misinformation coming from DeSantis. Ron DeSantis might not be as tough on crime as he says he is Is Florida really a national model for public safety? https://www.vox.com/politics/2023/4/10/23673240/desantis-crime-florida-guns-shootings-police-2024 "In some Florida cities, the data shows murder rates are significantly higher than in blue cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Boston."
One could argue that it is the lefterrhoid states that are fudging the numbers. They are arresting vastly fewer and/or prosecuting vastly fewer crimes and the ones that are prosecuted have been pled down or charged down from felonies to misdemeanors. This makes the data look like they are getting better results when, in fact, they are just looking the other way on more and more crimes. Plus more and more citizens are just not bothering to report some crimes because no one does anything. Conversely, states that are leaning into dealing with crime end out with more arrests and prosecutions which are wrongly interpreted to mean that crime is going up. Nope. That may or may not be the case. You have to drill down to see what is going on. It often means they are just beginning to enforce the law more.
So are the other states simply not including their crime figures from their largest counties in order to make the case their crime rates are low? You know... like DeSantis is doing. Get back to us with your fine insights. This is not about arresting and prosecuting crimes... this is about the DeSantis administration faking the data. Even making claims that crime in Florida is at a 50 year low. Something that simply looking at data from the 2010s will disprove.
I gave you adequate information to proceed. I said that you need to drill down to see what it is going on with the data. Every state and city has its own game going. My point was - and I adequately explained in detail- that the lefty states have a data suppression game going on. I do not enter into how it may or may not align with whatever game or no-game that DeSantis has going on. You said:"the DeSantis administration is using fake & altered crime data to push a false political narrative about crime.." I was merely dismissing your attempt to single DeSantis out just because it fits your narrative. Your lefty scumbags are masters at the game of bending crime statistics as I outlined.
Can you point to another example of a single other state besides Florida which lowers their reported crime rate by simply "forgetting" to include data from large counties? This is very different than the typical "crime data suppression" of trying to "downgrade" crimes in police reports used by some cities. What Florida is doing is wholesale fraud with reporting the crime data to drive DeSantis' political narrative.
