Desantis made a GREAT decison. African american studies is just another name for critical race theory. No one wants that garbage taught in schools. Also, slaves and civil rights are already taught in history. Unless afro american studies teach about gangbangers and robbery; im serious.
AP classes are supposed to be challenging and offering afro american studies as AP takes away the challenging part. Was this invented to make it easier for blacks to take an AP class?

Post liked by treefrog, the same moron who repeatedly said Elizabeth Warren would be the 2020 democrat nominee because the black vote didn't matter in the democrat primaries and that Trump would win the general election because the black vote wouldn't matter there either LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Florida’s rejection of Black history course stirs debate

DeSantis said his administration rejected the College Board’s Advanced Placement African American Studies course because "we want education, not indoctrination." It was revealed last week that the Florida Department of Education recently told the College Board it would bar the course unless changes are made.

The state then issued a chart late Friday that says the course promotes the idea that modern American society oppresses Black people, other minorities and women, includes a chapter on "Black Queer Studies" that the administration finds inappropriate, and uses articles by critics of capitalism.

Blacks are pissed off with Biden and he is looking at very low black voter turnout, unless a republican candidate pisses them off like Trump did in 2018 and 2020.And DeSantis is doing just that.

Do you have data that supports the "DeSantis is pissing off blacks"? If its your belief, that's fine. I'm just curious if you've got data I've not seen.

I've tried to find data showing how African Americans voted in the mid-term, but all I can find is age and latino demograpics.

Overall nationwide their numbers were down, which supports what I have been saying even prior to the mid terms that black voter turnout will be down for Biden because blacks are pissed with him and the dem party as a whole.

I base a lot of my opinions from feedback from my black personal circle which is large and black political associate circle which is very large due to the fact I have been volunteering for democrats since Obama in 2008.

Most blacks in my circle are taking the stance Im taking, not voting or volunteering for moderates like Biden but will support progressives like Kelly,Warnock ,Fetterman etc. That changes for them though when it comes certain GOP candidates that piss them off and Desantis pisses them off for reasons like this
