So holding the nations largest gay month celebration while tons of children are in the park is perfectly OK?
It's probably why Verizon needs to install more infrastructure to support smart phones. Notice most of spending is in Democratic areas.
Sooo...your point is that areas that voted blue in a past election has some play on how their spending their money with people coming into the area who weren't here last election? Or is it some other point from a random thought generator?
That thinking is to shallow for you Going to the park at anytime is a parental decision....Thats all DeSantis is asking for from the schools and businesses
How can Democrats move to the land of the oppressive tyrant DeSantis Most are leaving the Liberal heaven of New York
This is precisely where I was going with my comments. But the NPC has never been one who is very astute with critical thinking skills. You have to walk him through it step by agonizing step.
A big concern is that "normal" states like Florida and Texas are filling in with people with rotten liberal brains now. This is like a locust swarm. It could certainly affect future elections.
I'm not so sure of that anymore. In Florida, the number of republic registrations has outstripped democrats solidly. I mean, its not even close. It might have been true pre-pandemic, but liberals aren't moving to Florida post-pandemic because they think DeSantis is the devil. Just look at the NPC in this thread.
Florida has been a toss up state for decades. If anything it is leaning right with inflows of retirees.
Let's see what DeSantis' press spokesperson, Christina Pushaw, is up too. Oh, just tweeting more fabricated fake news as usual. DeSantis Press Secretary Tweets Fake News About Washington Post and Homophobic Dog https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/...t-washington-post-and-homophobic-dog-14507275 Gov. Ron DeSantis' press secretary, Christina Pushaw, states on her Twitter bio that she's "here to debunk false narratives." But in a dramatic turn of events, it appears she might have recently fallen for one. On May 16, Pushaw shared a screenshot on Twitter that appeared to show a Washington Post article headlined, "This dog is the new face of online homophobia," alongside a photo of a white dachshund and Washington Post technology reporter Taylor Lorenz's byline. "More cutting edge journalism from the 49 year old Washington Post activist infamous for showing up masked on random people's doorsteps & sliding into the DMs of tiktok teenagers," Pushaw tweeted. Lorenz is actually in her mid-30s. But there's more. As Lorenz, her colleagues, and a number of other Twitter users pointed out to the press secretary for the governor of the country's third-largest state, the screenshot Pushaw shared is fake: The headline was apparently Photoshopped onto a Washington Post article template. "I would have assumed a press secretary could recognize the difference between a fake meme page screenshot and a real news article," Lorenz tells New Times. "But apparently not." Though Lorenz didn't write the story and the Washington Post didn't publish it, a white dachshund named Whitney Chewston really has become known as the "homophobic dog," thanks to viral images of her with a glass of red wine, accompanied by bigoted statements like "not too fond of gay people." On the same day Pushaw shared the bogus screenshot, the online news magazine LGBTQ Nation published a real story with that same headline, written by the site's managing editor, Alex Bollinger, about Whitney Chewston and her gay owners, who explained how the meme started after they posted satirical photos on Instagram. The real article written by LGBT Nation managing editor Alex Bolliger Screenshot via LGBT Nation" As of Tuesday evening, Pushaw had not deleted her tweet. In fact, she says it was meant to be humorous. "It was clearly a joke," Pushaw writes in an email to New Times. "I have often shared satirical and humorous memes and tweets." The internet is having none of it. "This is a fake story you fool," replied Keith Edwards, communications director for gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried. "[P]osting fake screenshots to show much you hate fake news," wrote Reason reporter C.J. Ciaramella. Lorenz herself responded with a meme featuring Whitney Chewston herself: "mama lets (not do any) research." (More Tweets and pictures at above url)
