If you posted Democrats in the same manner, you'd have to ask Baron to double the storage space for his forum.
Fair enough But keep in mind this is just the beginning of the list for the GOP -- you know the party of "family values" which is currently spending its time complaining that Disney is grooming children.
But that's a joke. The GOP isn't the party of "Family Values" any more than the Democrats are the "Party of the Worker". Its all bullshit, and instead of GOP this and Democrats that, we should focus on individuals and whether those individuals are doing something to make the lives of their constituents better or not. I'm being serious. Fighting over whose team screwed up today doesn't get us anywhere and its exactly what those in power hope we do.
So the best GOP can do in Florida is take on Disney rather than address issues which are critical to constituents such as property insurance. It appears that nothing is being done to "make the lives of their constituents better" -- but to be fair this can be said for politicians all over. In summary... DeSantis decides he's in to bestiality, fingers a mouse.
this is a real pussy move by DeSantis.. ohhhh disney criticized my bill...waaaaahhhh...i am going to kill the cash cow that feeds our treasury because my feewings waz huwt.... frickin snowflake...
That's my point entirely (though not on your mouse fetish). If you're going to criticize the GOP in Florida, do so equally everywhere else and include the Democrats in their stupidity (like doubling state tax on the unvaccinated in RI). I never said DeSantis always made the right call, nor that he was infallible. The Disney thing - I need to see what precisely he's doing. Because right now, it only looks as if he is evening the playing field with Disney and getting rid of preferential treatment. You can criticize the why he is doing this and I think you'd be correct. But it should be done regardless. Should have been done long ago. What's amusing is those on the left going after what he's doing and then simultaneously being for reducing tax loopholes and making corporations pay their fair share. Oh, except for Disney!
