So if Chicago lead the nation with shootings/murders for months while other states have significantlty less shootings and then in October less people were shot and murdered we should make it a national story as though the other months before did not exist and claim Chicago's policies are a roaring success despite months of criticism??
Right. But you're not doing it right. Florida is the highest in a particular week/month when the earth's rotational tilt is a certain angle and M.A.S.H. re-runs are on TV. Or something. But fact checkers.
He's talking about current infection rates, you're talking about over the course of the pandemic. Which, of course, is taking into account Florida's latest wave (which occurs in the summer) and not the North's which occurs this winter.
Biden should learn from Desantis on how to rid us of Covid the number of new Covid cases in Florida has plummeted from 151,748 for the week ending August 20 to 19,519 as of October 8, according to the Florida Department of Health’s weekly Covid situation report. According to the New York Times Covid Tracker, Florida now has the second-lowest per capita Covid rate of any state: 12 per 100,000, behind only Hawaii, with nine per 100,000 as of October 18. Florida’s vaccination rate (59 percent fully vaccinated) is now above the national average (57 percent.) I live in Pinellas County (St. Petersburg), which currently has a per capita Covid infection rate that’s lower than every county in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and other blue states.
Wow you really are dumb. Incredible that you've somehow twisted this so much in your mind that you want to export Florida's god awful Coved experience elsewhere.
