So school began Tuesday, and the Hillsborough (Tampa) County School Board had an emergency meeting (Saturday, I believe) where they put mask mandates in place. They also allowed for an Opt Out to be filled in by the parents. It was very efficient and simple. They had a spot on the website you could enter the info and they were very helpful in identifying the process - no bullshit. My son said 1/5th of the students had no masks on the first day, but the second day (after more parents found the opt out and learned there was one) it was more like 70%. My suspicion is that by the end of the week tomorrow, there will only be a few kids wearing masks. Parents and students have made their choice, and it is not in favor of tEh sCiEnCe.
You should call the governor's office with your conspiracy and try to find out. The rest of us don't care and don't think anyone is trying to hide anything.
