From the moron who brought you the hysteria about the B.117 variant (which went nowhere) comes....B1.621!!!! (suspense music) the good thing about all these supposed variants is the list we can create when none of them end the world. You can become known as the Boy Who Cried Variant!
Indians do not come over the southern border... they fly to the United States as tourists and stay on illegally to become "illegal immigrants" -- just like people from European countries have done.
Is NPR discredited by Facebook? Can I use it as a source? More Migrants From India Try To Get Into U.S. From Mexico Before the pandemic, 100 times more Indians were being detained annually on the U.S.-Mexico border, compared to 10 years ago. Officials say the economic migrants believe smugglers promising asylum.
Before the pandemic Show us how many Indians are attempting to cross the border since the pandemic. The numbers are very low. Seeing that only 2000 Indians live in Mexico. And the number of Indian tourists going to Mexico is low -- there are not very many Indians sneaking over the border when compared to other groups. Let's take a look at the numbers. Only 311 Indians were caught crossing the border from Mexico at the peak of an enforcement action exercise in 2019 -- this is when Indian border crossing was at its height due to Trump immigration policies. For 2019 as a whole a total 7,675 Indians were apprehended by the CBP during the surge in 2019. Only 33,000 tourist arrived from Southeast Asia to Mexico in 2019. This would set the maximum limit on the number who would be potentially be coming across the border -- of course noting that Indians are just a sub-set within the Southeast Asia group. Of course Mexico is trying to build up to 200,000 Indian tourists by 2022 -- but this objective set in 2018 is unlikely to happen. As noted -- the number of visitors from India to Mexico in 2016 based on country of origin was 22,431. Of course in 2020/2021 almost no Indians are crossing... as outlined below... Fewer Indians Are Crossing Over to US, And COVID Isn’t Just Why The Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigrants is one reason why the border arrivals are declining. https://www.thequint.com/us-nri-news/why-fewer-indian-refugees-are-migrating-to-the-us#read-more "After sharply declining in 2020, the count of Indian refugees being apprehended at the Southern border hasn’t started rising significantly yet, as observed by attorneys and volunteers who work directly with Indian asylum seekers." Trying to claim that many Indians are crossing the southern U.S. border spreading the Delta variant is absurd.
Great job DeSantis -- so much "winning". Florida virus cases soar, hospitals near last summer's peak https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...thony-fauci-miami-orange-county-b1893346.html
What is DeSantis going to do now that local cities, counties and school systems are ignoring him and imposing mask & vaccine mandates to protect public health. Is he going to waste more taxpayer money in court trying to impose his will for political purposes while attempting to kill off the population of his state. This appears to be a wholesale revolt against DeSantis' stupidity. Mayors of 2 Florida counties have broken with Gov. Florida hospital system declares code black due to surge in COVID-19 patients https://bnonews.com/index.php/2021/...declares-code-black-due-to-coronavirus-surge/ The AdventHealth hospital system has put its Central Florida Division on code black due to a surge in patients who are suffering from COVID-19, officials say, adding that the number of patients has surpassed the previous peak in January. A statement from AdventHealth said the hospital system was treating about 1,000 COVID-19 patients across its Central Florida Division, which includes Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Polk, Volusia and Flagler counties. It added that all hospital-based outpatient procedures will also be deferred, though time-sensitive pediatric procedures can be conducted with approval of the chief medical officer. “Cases continue to rise sharply with no sign that the surge is beginning to decelerate,” said Dr. Neil Finlder, chief clinical officer of the Central Florida Division. “This important step will help us create more resources for our clinical teams, and ensure that we can continue to care for our community.” (More at above url)
Ah, so now it's very low, whereas before you said no indians came across the southern border. As I said, you were whining about 38 cases of documented (supposedly) Delta cases going from Florida to NC, but somehow you think that "very low" cases of illegal Indian immigrants has no effect. Again, you demonstrate your complete inability to think critically.
