Are you vaccinated? Let's take a look at the official Publix policy for masks.

    What is Publix’s mask policy?

In accordance with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated individuals inside Publix stores unless required by a state or local order or ordinance. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated are required to use face coverings over their noses and mouths while inside any Publix store.

Nope, and that is entirely the point, dude.

No one checks. So therefore, there are no masks in Publix. The policy is irrelevant. Put in place to protect Publix legally, and that's all business care about.

Publix is the first place that really ditched masks then everyone else followed. The staff is still masked but not the customers. I literally do not wear a mask anywhere in Florida now.

Today I saw several articles discussing research results that indicate that Covid immunity is likely to persist for *years* and that booster vaccinations will not likely be necessary.

Masks have already been shown to be ineffective. Everyone knows this. Time for you to get off your idiotic, Marxist, power-hungry, schadenfreude soap box and get with the program.

All three of the major cruise lines have announced that vaccinations will be required for 16 & over for all cruises from the U.S. As of August 1st, it will be required for age 12 and over. As an adult if you are not vaccinated then you are not going on a cruise from the U.S.

Many U.S. cruise lines are not allowing children at all on their early cruises. For example you must be 16 and over (and vaccinated) to go on the Celebrity Edge in June.

Relax. DeSantis and Florida will win. I fully expect to take a cruise in October un-vaccinated.

And here are the current guidelines for one of the cruise lines

    ENHANCED HEALTH SCREENINGS
Every guest will undergo enhanced pre-embarkation health screenings. We will refer anyone with signs and symptoms of COVID-19, or who are identified at-risk, for additional medical screening before allowing them to board. Secondary screenings (and health checks throughout the cruise) will be performed when necessary. Contact tracing is planned for every cruise. Protocols are evolving and as changes are announced, we will share more information as soon as possible.
