I guess you fail to remember the wave of COVID that occurred in Florida in 2020 after these pictures were taken. You know the COVID wave with deaths per day in the hundreds and leading the nation in cases for weeks.

 

If I recall you warned us about all the people who were guying to die in Florida via a Covid apocalypse and you showed us a picture of Floridians going to the beach.

As if you had any data showing Covid spreads on beaches.

You are a fear monger moron then... and still are now.

Covid almost entirely spreads from the symptomatic via droplets (says the CDC) and it takes time (according to ER docs.)

Unless you are on the beach letting sick people cough into your mouth over a period of time...

You are not going to get Covid on the beach.

 

And yet... the spring break of 2020 spread COVID all over Florida.... and had the students bring it back to their home states spreading COVID across the country.

Locking down is to prevent everyone from becoming ill all at once and overwhelming medical facilities. That is it.

There is no long term benefit to the population who is going to come into contact with the virus inevitably. The stupidity and lack of logic is so epic I mostly have to ignore it all or risk becoming a complete misanthrope.

 

Let's be very clear the nonsense jem and others have advocated such as "no lockdowns", "only lockdown the at-risk", "natural herd immunity" and the "Great Barrington Declaration" have conclusively proven to be dismal failures.. All of these failed ideas which cost many lives have been buried in the dustbin of history.
