FL #26 in total cases per 1M pop. This got slightly worse than historical (meaning pace of cases is higher than the average). FL#28 in total deaths per 1M pop. This got slightly better. Absolutely nothing to be concerned about - unless you want to push fear like some do.
So tell us how the statistics for recent weeks look. Florida is one of the five states cited for having out of control COVID currently and also has most of the variant infections in the U.S. TRAGIC. Sadly Florida has also been the hub or infecting most other U.S. state with variants. For example the first 37 variant cases in North Carolina were proven to come from Florida (as outlined in the article posted earlier).
I can show you the data that doesn't look any worse than places where outbreaks are currently raging, but then you'd have another excuse for that - the data is fake, or you can't compare FL to (insert state)....you always have some excuse.

Here's where we see your failure to use critical thinking again surfaces. Even if you were right about the origin of every single person who was infected being from Florida (LOL) closing down Florida solves it now? Now that its all over the country?
Seeing that Florida has the large majority of COVID variant cases in the U.S.; the best response would be cutting off all travel coming out of this ground-zero plague location.
Sounds like the plan.... now that they are overrun due to what Florida did to them.... they will require restrictions to battle these COVID variant cases as well. Stop the spread and contain the existing outbreaks. Except the reality is that we know this will happen in the United States. Too many people screaming about their "freedoms" and "rights" to go out & infect others. Sadly the U.S. could have stopped COVID cold in its tracks back in spring of 2020 if we had instituted proper Contact Tracing, Testing, Travel restrictions, mask mandates, and other proper public health measures from a federal level after a lockdown to get the measures in place. With our wealthy healthcare and technology system the U.S. should have been the world leader in demonstrating the proper way to address COVID -- but due to poor leadership from the Trump administration we became the world laughingstock.
