There is no possible defense for DeSantis' actions in hiding data and providing misinformation. You have no defense for his actions --- just blind worship of little Trump.

Its funny, the original post of the thread was just about DeSantis calling out the press for its absurd claims about what was going to happen to Florida (see the first few pages where I show the claims that were so far off to be laughable). GWB and the media both hated DeSantis because he supported Trump. I get it, hate Trump but give credit where credit is due. I don't give a shit about Trump, but instead care greatly about the quality of life I have which has been directly impacted - and kept WHOLE - by DeSantis. Later, both the media and GWB continued to double, triple and then even quadruple down on a losing proposition by sticking to their claims about how Florida was doomed. For a short while in July of last year it was beginning to look questionable on DeSantis and his decision to keep Florida open. But by now, even media outlets like MSNBC are starting to question whether it was right to shut the country down. The data is just so one sided and so OBVIOUSLY good for DeSantis. But gwb will continue to call out fraud and data inconsistencies (and there ARE data inconsistencies, just like there are everywhere) and who knows as to what level is intentional and what is incompetence (I've said that also, all along). But at the end of the day, cases and deaths are what we should be looking at when judging performance against COVID and total performance should be about that, plus the economic impact. And DeSantis gets an A, of that there can be little doubt. That won't stop griefers like gwb.
Never said you are a Trump worshipper --- but clearly you are a DeSantis worshipper. No matter how poor his behavior or policies -- DeSantis can do no wrong in your eyes. You are blind to the reality that he behaves just a like a little version of Trump -- perhaps better spoken and more intelligent than Trump -- but with all the basic Trump personality traits shining through his psyche.
Of course I am a DeSantis worshipper. He's made my quality of life SO MUCH BETTER while friends and family have suffered horrifically at the hands of other states. So it goes to say I'd be a huge fan. I've never said he can do no wrong. I've only said I'm focused on what is important. And your little claims about fraudulent or missing data don't concern me even 1/100th as much as the COVID and economic data (as any sane resident would say). So are you going to answer ANY of the questions I've asked you just today? Fourth request. Of course you won't. We both know what the answers would do to your narrative that Florida is a disaster.

So much to the point -- that obvious examples of DeSantis hiding COVID data you refuse to accept -- including his deliberately ordering the state not to release information on COVID variants in the state recently and refusing to release the weekly federal coronavirus task force reports that showed how dire the situation in Florida is.
