you are so full of shit.. that you believe everything you write... and never update your worldview... You could not be any more full of shit... Germany now has exploding cases... past their spring high per the 7 day moving average... https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/germany 2. I applaud South Korea... they did not lock down... https://ourworldindata.org/covid-exemplar-south-korea South Korea’s response to COVID-19 stands out because it flattened the epidemic curve quickly without closing businesses, issuing stay-at-home orders, or implementing many of the stricter measures adopted by other high-income countries. The country has shown early success across three phases of the epidemic preparedness and response framework: detection, containment, and treatment. From the outset, decision making in South Korea has been a collaboration between the government and the scientific community. 3. last I checked New Zealand has not opened to travel and they are an island. What works on a locked down Island is not going to work here as long as we are letting people cross our borders.
You are wrong about that. There is strong chance later this week... I will not be worried about lefties for a few years. I will be pretty damn happy for my kids futures in this country. Our liberties will be able to withstand a few years of Biden if ACB is seated. DJT will have fulfilled his mission even more than we would have hoped. There is so much at stake... there may yet be a big surprise... but I am hopeful.
First let's take a look at why Germany has been so successful in addressing COVID-19 https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...o-re-open-america.343704/page-72#post-5227276 While cases have been rising in Germany recently they are much less impacted than the rest of Europe. However they are still taking proper mitigation measures to reduce the impact of COVID as we proceed into winter. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...e-covid-chronicles.351321/page-3#post-5229341 It should be noted that the COVID-19 infection rate in Germany is still much lower than the United States. Yet they are taking action to be sure it does not get out-of-control like the United States.
Yes, you are so hopeful that you spam a trading forum that your kids lives are being "destroyed" by Covid measures. ACB is another running joke in America; a woman who attends a weird cult-like church and got ahead in her career through extreme partisan politics.
No lockdowns in South Korea... LOL South Korea reenters lockdown after spike in coronavirus infections https://www.axios.com/south-korea-c...own-30884b07-32d6-4ee6-b809-5f64498fab75.html South Korea followed the best public health practices with full testing and contact tracing... this minimized they lockdowns they needed to do... and allowed them to do it on a regional basis (usually by city) when mitigations needed to be applied. South Korea was a leader in the COVID pandemic response - they got on top it quick and fully used tools to reduce the spread quickly (something the U.S. should have done). Trying to claim that South Korea would not resort to any measures necessary including a national lockdown is laughable. Their leaders were willing to any measures necessary to eliminate COVID-19 -- the country was well prepared due to previous scares with SARS, MERS, etc.
You just told us .... "Countries that follow proper public health principles including testing and contact tracing have been very successful at reducing and eliminating COVID. Just take a look at New Zealand, Germany, and South Korea." Yet Germany has a new high in infections. Texas, Florida do not. Sweden does not. You can't say Germany is a success as they reach new highs in infections. If Texas, Florida and Sweden go back to new highs in infections... then maybe you can compare them.
1. that is not a shelter in place lockdown ... plus... I did not say they won't lock down.... you fucking liar. I did my research before I posted... and this is what I posted... https://ourworldindata.org/covid-exemplar-south-korea "South Korea’s response to COVID-19 stands out because it flattened the epidemic curve quickly without closing businesses, issuing stay-at-home orders, or implementing many of the stricter measures adopted by other high-income countries. The recent "high" level of infections in Germany is much lower than the standard level of infections in Texas and Florida. You need to take the new high in context. Maybe Texas and Florida need to be much more alarmed at their current level of COVID infection and take strict mitigation measures to fix the problem -- is the actual lesson. For instance - if a country has 1 infection per day reported for months and suddenly jumps to 2 infections one day for a "new high" --- are you going to claim that this country is much worse off than Texas and Florida which report thousands per day?
No, you need to take the new high in context. I was fully aware of the difference in rates per million... I was just letting you know your model country was suffering from a Covid breakout.
