Agree----what I don't get though is the why. He/She makes decent postings on some other subjects but can't seem to understand The Kung Flu and the politics of it. ----or maybe does. Who knows, but the incessant ridiculousness is a huge turn off.
My guess is it is because he has taken a very public and one-sided approach to COVID and this is simply a matter of being right and never giving ground or adjusting one's view.
Not to mention the many kids who have lengthy COVID recoveries and symptoms that may last their entire lives. Let's take a look at one of their stories before making claims about ""no risk to children"... A 9-year-old who's been battling coronavirus for 6 months says the illness is a big deal https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/15/us/long-haul-coronavirus-father-son/index.html
Riiight. CNN article showing how one child supposedly has symptoms for 6 months when no other child experiences anything like it, and it is all COVID. Riiiight. Dude, I'm sorry but I'm just as gullible as all the jokers you're used to peddling this crap to. 100% horseshit, grade A. And even if it were some freak anomaly, that's all it is. A freak anomaly. We shouldn't lock down the kids of the world because of one freak anomaly. And yes, I'll tell the parents that. But its likely just more CNN FAKE NEWS. in other news, Severe Combined Immuno Deficiency (SCID): SCID is estimated to occur in approximately 1 out of every 50,000 to 100,000 births. It can affect either boys or girls but the most common type occurs only in males (X-linked). If not treated in a way that restores immune function, children with SCID usually live only a year or two. We should all be locked in our closets to protect these individuals, as their right to exist and not quarantine supersedes our rights to live a free life.
Thousands in North Carolina incorrectly told they have COVID-19 DeSantis' fault! Fraud! Faking numbers!
Yes... and North Carolina has been very transparent about the information and this particular incident occurred at a county level not the state level. This situation involved a vendor sending out test messages or email to 7000 residents of Mecklenburg County on Friday stating they have tested positive. "The county said on Twitter the messages had actually gone out due to a glitch “in the software system that has been addressed by the software provider.”" Note that North Carolina does not send COVID notifications by text or email. If you receive one it is probably a scam. I received several scam text messages over the past 6 months stating it was urgent I call a "COVID hotline" phone number (where they would demand that you pay for them to mail you a COVID test). I expect people in every state are receiving these type of scam text messages, emails, or phone calls. It is good that Mecklenburg County quickly took steps to clear up this situation and be transparent with the information.
If that same thing had happened in Florida, you'd be all over the forum telling us how DeSantis' corrupt administration and no-bid policy was the cause of it.
The events that occur in Florida are not limited to a single county, they are not remedied & reported immediately, nor is a proper explanation provided. All the bids from the counties and state for IT in North Carolina related to medical reporting in 2020 were done with open bids.... they were not awarded to politically connected cronies of the governor.
