and as long as you continue to state it as your opinion, I have no problem with it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Tuesdays typically come in higher because of lag from the weekend catches up by Tuesday. It’s sad that this is consistent but it’s not Florida’s fault, it’s constant across the states. What’s concerning is the record number of hospitalizations. I wonder if Florida has data on the average age of those hospitalized. If they do you will most likely notice as time guys by and hospitalizations increase so does the ages of those hospitalized. As the age of those hospitalized goes up fatalities rapidly increase. I was told Florida is taking measures to protect the aged and I said I would be very impressed if they did so. Jury’s still out. Florida is at a critical point right now. Are they going to peak or plateau? Peak means rapid decrease in spread - this is where you watch the positivity rate. If they plateau it’s just a slog of cases ~10k day after day, week after week as hospitalizations rise and fatalities grow and grow. Fatalities will still grow for some time even after transmission goes down.
Saw this! Lets hope it stays tropical storm strength. El Cubano is in the direct onshore path. But most Floridians don't get out of bed for less than a Cat 2!
