  2. Most of the country still doesn't even know who DeSantis is. Don't believe the polls. It would be an extremely close race.

He's probably one of the top 3 most well known Governors in the country, probably #2 behind Coumo.Harris or Biden beats him by 5-10 million votes.

  4. Harris is a bad candidate and she would have lost to Trump. She proved that running for VP. There was a lot of attention on her early on, she had one good debate (attacking Biden), and flailed after that. Of all the people who ran in the primary, she honestly came across as the politician who flip flops the most and the least trustworthy. DeSantis could get more moderates than Trump, but some of Trump's base might stay home. It's really hard to tell what the result would be.

Disagree on all.If she had gotten the nomination dems would have gotten behind her.DeSantis is the same wing of the party as Trump and would not get more moderates imo.Harris/Biden + 5-10 million imo.

Like Biden,Harris was also polling ahead of Trump in 2020

Harris is the front runner for 2024,ahead of Biden,Trump and Desantis

  6. All 4 combined are a good bet. He might be in the same wing, but he can sell himself to moderate voters. Trump barely tried to appeal himself to more moderate voters. Trump lost more, because of his character rather than his ideology.

If I were DeSantis, I'd politely decline, finish his term as governor (assuming he wins in 22) and start planning for 28. Ron's young and has a lot of runway.

I doubt he'd run against Trump in a primary - which is disappointing.
